A successful experience

Let me tell you, I'm not a professional when it comes to cooking.
When I was much younger I wanted to surprise my parents and cook something for them, but suddenly the oil went up on flames and I was home alone, so I poured water on it (which is the worst idea), but I managed to extinguish it. Since then I haven't really done anything in the kitchen. I'm afraid of fire and I just can't bring myself to light the oven and the burners.
However, I'm now 23 so I need to overcome my fear.

I have only made croissants a couple of times, and american pies twice in my life. I also tried to cook some pasta but they weren't too good, unfortunately.

BUT today I found an easy-peasy blackberry cobbler on a website. The website itself is genious. The writer takes gorgeous photos of the meals she makes and has a pretty great sense of humour!
If you like making special, unique, yet delicious and beautiful meals, I suggest you to take a look at her recipes here.

I bought raspberries instead of blackberries (Mum doesn't like blackberries). I think my cobbler looked beautiful and it was delicious as well!
She used self-rising flour, but I didn't have it so I should have added baking powder in it. I forgot to do it. Of course. Plus I added too much fruit so it became a bit juicy.
Never mind, it will be better next time!

Let's make a chain ring

This morning I was browsing through my Tumblr dashboard and I came across this photo which instantly inspired me.

I really like both rings but the one on the middle finger is the simplest thing to make at home. It takes about five minutes to create!

You'll need

- chain
- craft pliers (Optional. You don't need them if you can use your fingers/nails and maybe your teeth)
- a jump ring

Take the chain and wrap it around your finger to measure it, then cut it where needed.

Now you need the jump ring, open it a little bit and put the ends together, then close it with the pliers or with your nails (then press it with your teeth if needed)

Voila! You're ready to wear your new ring! :)

Of course you can use different colours, and the tinier the chain, the more girlish the ring.
I hope you enjoyed this tutorial! :)

Louella fun

You may know that last night Zoe (Zoella) and Louise (Sprinkle of Glitter) did Blog Tv and we had the chance to ask them our burning questions...
I spent a good two hours waiting for them, the chat room was fun, I loved how many people were there and everybody was friendly and nice.
At first, the sound was a huge crap, I couldn't hear anything but I refreshed the page, so it was all nice then.
But suddenly I found myself in the waiting room...
The chat was fun with the girls and I thought I had no chance to be in the main room again, so I just listened what they were talking about. But after about an hour I was in the main room again until the end of the show.
I still didn't have any questions to ask so I started asking them to say "hello Monika" (my name), and they DID! haha
I was laughing when Louise started singing.

Thank you Zoe and Louise for making my day :)
